What is the difference between missions agencies and missions ministries?

A »

A Mission Agency is an organization that serves the missionary who does the work of the ministry globally. For GTN, those services include:

  • Donor services
  • Payroll
  • Reporting
  • Training
  • Member care
  • Field oversight
  • Trouble shooting
  • Resource and development for project work
  • Marketing and representation to the greater public
  • Tools for growth
  • Intentional leadership design that promotes a sense of family

We are committed to the well-being of our missionaries and their families. The DNA of Go To Nations is to create multi-generational ministry through sons and daughters in the faith. We have to have as great of a commitment to our missionaries as we do to the nationals that we serve. A missions ministry is one that conducts specific missions ministry work in the nations, but doesn’t necessarily serve missionaries and their needs.
