What does a missions director do?

The missions director will serve as the head of the missions committee.

They will be the liaison between the church and the field missionaries and projects, advocating for and coordinating the resources that the field missionaries and short-term teams need.

They will be responsible to submit an annual missions plan and budget; stay abreast with the world missions movement; as well as, lead an annual evaluation of the progress of the church’s vision results based on the missions plans.
