In a faith mission, it is mandatory for a missionary to raise enough financial support to cover insurance, retirement plans and education. It normally requires a number of individuals and churches to cover these needs. However, if a church wishes to provide some or all of these benefits, the church may do so but it is not required.

If we raise up a missionary from our congregation, is the church required to provide the missionary with health insurance? A retirement plan? Funds for their children’s education?
