If God so loved the world why did He have to send Jesus to die for my sins?

A »

Romans 5:17 teaches us that death came to the world through the sin of Adam. Adam was placed on earth as God’s representative, to rule and reign in the earth. Since Adam, a man, gave away his position as righteous ruler in the earth, then a man would have to restore the proper order.

As Romans 8:3 says, “What we could not do for ourselves, God did by sending His own Son as a righteous sacrifice.” Jesus, without sin, paid the price for the sins of men so that we could be forgiven, and then we are able to receive the life of God as He originally intended.
