How does the church generate finances for the missions program?

A »

To help provide the necessary funds to support missionaries and conduct missions projects, here are four possible income streams:

  • Part of the general church budget – 10%.
  • Monthly Commitments – These are the monthly commitments that the families in the church make at the annual missions conference taken from their known resources. This will give the missions account new income every month.
  • Faith Promises – The people make Faith Promises at the annual missions conference. Now they are using their faith to believe in new finances for the missions budget from unknown resources. They give as the Lord supplies.
  • Fundraisers – These are specially organized activities with the purpose of raising funds for the missions budget or special missions projects.
