Q »

Are missionaries accountable to anyone?

A »

Yes. As Paul teaches, those who teach or lead have a higher accountability for their lives and for their work by the Holy Spirit. However, Go To Nations also provides a solid field structure with team leaders, national team coordinators, regional team leaders, and an executive team – all of which are highly involved in the oversight of the missionaries’ well-being and the integrity of their work.

As a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability, Go To Nations has detailed reporting requirements for the missionary, both annual and monthly, that give an account of the ministry work and detailed accounting of the cost to do ministry. These individual reports build a corporate ministry plan and budget each year that has to then be approved by Go To Nations’ Board of Directors.
